Dear Andrew...

This was my first slip-up with the tooth fairy (though once I slipped in the money at the last panicky second when I went to wake him for school and saw the tooth pillow).  He had just heard his cousin talking about his tooth fairy not coming because his dad was up too last and scared her away, so he was super annoyed at us, assuming we'd done the same.  And so this was probably one of my bad parenting moves in response, to take the blame off of me for something of which I was totally to blame. I'll tell his therapist sorry one day.
