Since moving, we've been a little lazy with our Christmas tree findings. ...As in, we find them in the outdoor shopping area of Lowes. This year I was determined to go cut one down like we used to, especially because Drew's at the perfect age to get into it. The only suggestions of places were kind of far out for our little Accord to haul home, but in a zig-zagged way we ended up at this cute tree farm about 10 minutes away. We will be yearly regulars.
We picked one!
So the Drew part was not as great as I'd imagined. He fell asleep on the way over, and only woke enough to whine about the snowy trek required to find our tree. He helped daddy with the saw for about 1.5 seconds- long enough to snap a pic to document he was there. :)
By the time we brought it back to the main area and the man told him we'd get to see our tree dance (to shake out loose needles), Drew was wide awake and happy. Let's go cut down another one while we're at it!
Haha, I don't think you can even see just how low these branches are to the ground. It was that perfect of a tree, all the way to the bottom. We've got a bit more trimming to do to fit some presents under there!
