So, lesson learned.  Do not say you have to get better at something unless you actually have a plan to do it.  Sooo... I'm just gonna back it on up a few (5??) months and fill in some of what occurred (slowly, I'm sure).  I will make the dates match so it all make sense, but let's be clear, the last thing I actually wrote started with, "I have GOT to get out of this bad habit of getting way behind with blogging, and then backdating and dumping it all at once!"  Yikes. 
I do have a good excuse - we were so busy having fun, there wasn't any time to type.  ..or process, so anything between March and August may be half truth and half something I probably read in a book or saw in a movie once.  Have I mentioned I have the worst memory ever?

Post-vacation/trip days are really rough around here.  Lots of crabby kids.  That's when it's time to pull out the leftover party decorations.  Because who can help but smile when there are streamers in the room??

We have some fabulous friends who entertained our kids for the night while we had a youth planning meeting.  I don't think they wanted to come back home.  We call this pic, Little Lily Lou Who.
