We have been extremely busy with some upcoming events at church, including VBS and our Costa Rica trip, but last week I took a fun little break back home in Dayton to throw my sissy a small baby shower. It was so great to celebrate all the wonderful-ness happening with the Burt family and get ready for baby Isaac's arrival in a month. Here are a few pics:
It was a ducky theme. The bottom of the invite said, "We are going to start a piggy bank for the new baby. Please bring a few coins that when added equal your age. The person who can guess the total amount of money given will win a prize."
We did a brunch with different types of quiche, fruit & dip, cucumber sandwiches, broccoli salad, and several coffee cakes. Big time help from my mom and Sally.
I made a diaper cake with some hidden goodies inside. It was not quite finished at this point.
One of the games was to decorate onesies for Isaac. My sis is the most artistic person I know, so I thought she would appreciate them. -And hopefully these will make her smile on those rough mornings, knowing so many people love her and her fam!
love her! Such a fun week!!
